Florida campaign weekender for Sept. 10-11

State Rep. Dana Young, running for Senate District 18, will celebrate the opening of her Carrollwood campaign office with some Super Saturday canvassing. Starting at 9:15 a.m., Young will be on hand for a meet-and-greet with supporters, the campaign team, and volunteers, followed by a neighborhood walk. Joining Young for the event are members of the North Hillsborough Republican Club. Bagels and coffee will be provided. The Carrollwood campaign office is at 14499 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Suite 165, in Tampa.

State Rep. Frank Artiles, running for Senate District 40, hosts grand opening festivities for his new Miami campaign office. The event is from noon to 3 p.m. at 8946 S.W. 40th St. in Miami. For more details, visit http://bit.ly/2cqheCj. RSVP with Nick Recuset at [email protected] or 786-280-1622.

State Rep. Chris Latvala will be holding his own Super Saturday door-knocking event, in support of his re-election bid for House District 87. Canvassing starts 9:30 a.m. at the Publix located at 525 S. Belcher Road in Clearwater. Lunch will be provided for volunteers. RSVP at [email protected].

State Sen. Rene Garcia joins state Reps. José Oliva and Bryan Ávila for another Super Saturday canvassing walk, this one supporting state Rep. Manny Diaz Jr’s re-election effort in House District 103. Event begins 10:30 a.m. at 1165 W. 49th St. in Hialeah.
