Hillary Clinton is making the case for collaboration in her newest TV ad.
According to the Clinton campaign, the ad makes the case that “the only way we solve problems is bringing people together.” The 30-second spot — called “Only Way” — is meant to highlight the work she has done over the years.
“Donald Trump says he alone can fix the problems we face. Well, I don’t believe that’s how you get things done in our country,” she says in the ad. “It takes Democrats and Republicans working together. That’s how we got health care for 8 million kids, rebuilt New York City after 9/11, and got the treaty cutting Russia’s nuclear arms. We’ve got to bring people together. That’s how you solve problems and that’s what I’ll do as president.”
The ad’s release coincides with a bipartisan working session scheduled for Friday. The meeting, according to the campaign, will bring together stakeholders to discuss “how to best address important issues facing our nation and deliver results.”
The new ad is part of an already existing broadcast and cable ad campaign in Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
