Donald Trump to collect relief donations at Florida rallies

Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump is spending a lot of time in Florida over the next week, and at his Sunshine State rallies, he intends to collect relief supplies for those in need after Hurricane Matthew.

Trump seeks the following items: one-gallon containers of drinking water; 6-packs of bottled water; flashlights; batteries (AA or C preferred); baby wipes, diapers (any size), or baby formula.

Trump has a Panama City rally Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in Aaron Bessant Park. On Wednesday, Trump will be in Ocala and Lakeland.

“The campaign wanted to help those affected by Hurricane Matthew by asking the thousands of people who will attend our rallies this week to join us in donating supplies that will be sent to local relief agencies.” said Susie Wiles in the press release.

Wiles is a mainstay of Jacksonville political culture. The city was among the hardest-hit by Hurricane Matthew, with power recovery efforts ongoing for a fourth straight night.
