Anne Holton, Virginia’s former secretary of education and wife of vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine, will campaign for her husband and Hillary Clinton in North Florida Sunday and Monday.
“Holton will lay out the stakes of November’s election and outline Clinton and Kaine’s vision of an America that is stronger together, with an economy that works for all, not just those at the top,” the Clinton campaign said Friday in announcing the visits.
Holton will appear with Florida Democratic Party chairwoman Allison Tant at an invitation-only house party in Tallahassee on Sunday.
She then will head to a canvassing kickoff in Panama City at 3:15 p.m. CDT. That event will be held at 412 Magnolia Ave., Suite C. More information here.
Next is a Women for Hillary event in Pensacola at 10:15 a.m CDT on Monday. The site for that gathering has yet to be determined, but you can go here for more information.
Finally, Holton will participate with military families in another canvassing kick-off at 11:30 a.m. CDT at 1304 N. Pace Blvd. in Pensacola. More information about that one here.
The events are tied to Florida’s Oct. 18 deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 8 general election, the campaign said.
