Donald Trump will be in Orlando Wednesday for a roundtable meeting with Florida Puerto Rican leaders and a 4 p.m. rally, and in three other Florida cities Wednesday and Thursday, while his campaign is fanning out his family and surrogates to other states in the next few days.
“This week, major Trump surrogates and the Trump family will branch out to battleground states to rally voters in the final push of the campaign,” the campaign announced Wednesday. And while Trump himself is making the Orlando visit, and his son, Eric Trump, and Sen. Jeff Sessions were in Florida earlier this week, the rest of the week, not so much.
Trump himself, however, also is appearing Wednesday in Miami and Pensacola, and Thursday in Jacksonville.
The schedule released by the campaign shows Melania Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, Lara Trump, Tiffany Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, Keith Kellogg, Ben Carson, Michele Bachmann, Michael Flynn, and others will be in Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Virginia, Nevada, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin.
Vice Presidential nominee Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will be in Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado Wednesday; and Iowa, Michigan, and Pennsylvania Thursday.
But times change quickly, with just six days left before the election. Trump’s Wednesday Orlando visit was not announced until Tuesday.
Wednesday’s rally will be at the Central Florida Fair Grounds Orlando Amphitheater in west Orlando.
