Estella Gray, an award-winning public affairs communicator, is joining Hill+Knowlton Strategies’ Tampa office, company officials announced.
Gray will serve as an account supervisor and will support the firm’s public affairs, corporate, and healthcare practices.
She most recently served as the government affairs program manager for the Southwest Florida Water Management District. There, Gray was the government affairs spokesperson for Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties, working closely with county governments, municipalities, and utilities.
“Estella has established great relationships and developed award-winning public affairs programs in Tampa Bay, Tallahassee, and across Florida,” said Ron Bartlett, Hill+Knowlton’s general manager in Florida.
“She has a strong understanding of public policy and community issues that will serve our clients well, and we are delighted she has joined our team.”
Gray also has been a senior project manager at the Collins Center for Public Policy, and worked in public affairs at the Florida League of Cities, advocating on behalf of Florida’s 410 municipalities.
She has an undergraduate degree in public relations from Florida A&M University.
