Governor-elect Ron DeSantis has announced a series of upcoming rallies to serve as a “Thank You Tour” to his supporters throughout the campaign.

DeSantis and Lieutenant Governor-elect Jeanette Nuñez will appear at the rallies, which are set to begin Saturday.

“This historic win would not have been possible without the support of thousands of volunteers who believed in our vision for the state,” DeSantis said in a statement announcing the tour.

“Thanks to their hard work and dedication, we are now preparing to take office and build on Florida’s success. This election was about a bold vision for Florida’s future and I look forward to celebrating our shared victory.”

The tour will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Spartan Manor in New Port Richey.

Then, at noon, DeSantis and Nuñez will be in The Villages at La Hacienda Recreation Center in Lady Lake.

Finally, at 3 p.m. Saturday, the pair will appear at Riverside Pavilion in Port Orange.

Additional rallies are set to be announced “in the coming days,” according to the DeSantis team.

Joining the candidates at the stops in New Port Richey and The Villages will be Attorney General-elect Ashley Moody.

DeSantis secured the win in the Governor’s race in a close contest against Democratic candidate Andrew Gillum following a mandated recount.

It would speak volumes if he showed up at the Hands Along the Water peaceful protest in Venice on 12/15. He would send a message that he cares. Especially considering the neglect & the people’s reaction to RS. He has an opportunity to show true leadership, integrity and strength.
