State Rep. Mike Miller, after his victory over a Democratic incumbent in November, is taking the first steps towards re-election in 2016, according to the Florida Division of Elections. The Winter Park Republican filed paperwork this week for another run for Orange County’s House District 47.

Miller received about 52 percent of the vote last month to unseat Democratic state Rep. Linda Stewart of Orlando. Miller’s was one of four Orlando-area House seats that went to Republicans.
