The top trade group for the state’s top industry is adding some top talent.
The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association announced Thursday that it is bringing on Morgan Forsythe as IT Director and Ashley Gholston as Director of Industry Relations & Events.
“We are thrilled to welcome Morgan and Ashley to the FRLA family,” said Carol Dover, President and CEO of the FRLA
“Although they have very different skill sets, each is an expert in his or her respective area, and I have no doubt that they will bring incredible value to both our staff and our members.”
Forsythe is a Florida State University alum with a degree in Information Studies.
He comes to FRLA from Aegis Business Technologies where he served as a technical services consultant providing IT support, maintenance and planning services for private businesses and government agencies.
Gholston’s resume includes plenty of hospitality industry work, most recently opening and managing restaurants for Darden.
She earned her degree from North Florida Christian, though she completed hospitality, business and events coursework at the University of Central Florida and Florida State University.
FRLA advocates and provides regulatory support for hospitality businesses, which employ 1.4 million Floridians and pump $111.7 billion into the state economy.
