Florida woman strikes again.

A Gulfport property owner is suing a former tenant for vandalizing an apartment complex after her landlord threatened to evict her for default.

Shawn Hebert and his company, Shalor LLC, are suing a former tenant, Kim Denise Gillespie

Gillespie allegedly lived in the Gulfport apartment complex from 2014 until last summer.

Gillespie fell behind in rent last summer and, according to the lawsuit, allegedly told her landlord he “would be sorry” if he tried to evict her. Regardless of the threat, Hebert sued to evict her.

Before the eviction order came through, Hebert claims the apartment was defiled and then abandoned. In his lawsuit, he claims Gillespie spray-painted “f*** you” on the walls of the apartment and left human feces on the floor.

The lawsuit also claims the tenant put fish and other animal intestines in the apartment’s water heater, smashed eggs on the windows, clogged drains, destroyed cabinets, plumbing and tile in the kitchen and bathroom and ripped the faucets off sinks — all the while leaving the water running.

Gillespie allegedly returned to the property to shout expletives at Hebert.

Hebert claims cleaning and repairs took months and he wasn’t able to rent the apartment again until this February.

He seeks damages of $15,553 plus legal fees.

Two months after allegedly defiling her old apartment, Gillespie purchased her own home in Gulfport, paying $185,800 for it.

Hebert previously sued Gillespie for eviction in 2016 and a judge granted an order, but he didn’t wind up evicting her in that case.

Hebert owns the property with his sister, Lori Ann Hebert. But the sister is not listed in the lawsuit. The two also own several condominiums in the Gulfport area.

Hebert filed the lawsuit July 25 in Pinellas County court.
