POTUS says NY "will always have a special place in my heart!"

President Donald Trump says he will be making Palm Beach, Florida, his permanent residence after he leaves the White House, rather than returning to Trump Tower in New York.

Trump tweeted late Thursday that he cherished New York. But he added that “despite the fact that I pay millions of dollars in city, state and local taxes each year, I have been treated very badly by the political leaders of both the city and state.”

The New York Times reported earlier Thursday that Trump had filed “declaration of domicile” paperwork changing his “predominant and principal home” to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

Trump, who was born in New York, says “it will always have a special place in my heart!”

May 2017: WASHINGTON — Congress would allocate more than $120 million in additional money to help cover the escalating costs of protecting the Trump family and Trump Tower under a bipartisan spending agreement that appears poised to pass this week.
About half of the money, nearly $60 million, is earmarked for the Secret Service, with most of it going toward protecting the president while he is traveling and security for Trump Tower in New York City, according to legislation being circulated on Monday.
The baseline security expense to protect Trump Tower when the president is elsewhere is about $149,000 a day, according to a letter the local police commissioner, James O’Neill, sent Congress in late December. When President Trump is in New York, the price more than doubles to $308,000 a day. This counter will estimate those expenses depending on the president’s whereabouts.

Even before he took office, security for Donald Trump’s Manhattan home had cost the city of New York $25.7 million, according to the NYPD. The cost during the roughly two-month period when Trump was president-elect amounted to less than the $35 million the mayor’s office expected to spend. The City Council anticipated an even larger outlay of $70 million.

The bulk of that cost comes from the presence of NYPD personnel around Trump’s namesake tower on Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th streets. “There’s a very substantial complement of officers and traffic agents that have been devoted to that concentrated area to improve the flow of traffic,” New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said at a press conference in December. O’Neill added that the Trump Tower intersection is “obviously one of the busiest intersections in the city, and we are putting in a tremendous number of resources there every day.”

Palm Beach County has been “home” to a lot of major crime figures over the years – and this is just another one! Cheap slimeball in an expensive suit!

Hopefully, Humpty Trumpty will have to change it back soon – to “Riker’s Island, New York”. The racist, draft-dodging, lying, cheating, and conning lout is the ‘godfather’ without portfolio of a garden-variety crime family. Donito Trumpolini and his TrumpNutz – the gange that couldn’t shoot straight! He just adds more green goop and red tide to Florida’s already considerable woes! Scre ’em!
