Sachs Media Group (SMG), Florida’s leading independent public relations firm, is expanding with a new Boca Raton office.
Boca Raton is the third location statewide and first in South Florida for SMG, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
In addition to being one of Florida’s foremost communications enterprises, SMG also has evolved into a prominent advertising, branding and digital services provider.
“Planting a flag in South Florida is a major development for our firm,” founder and CEO Ron Sachs said. “We attribute our continued success to our ability to adjust to changing dynamics in the marketplace to best meet the new and diverse needs of our clients.”
Recognizing the trend toward integrated planning, Sachs decided to “significantly expand horsepower” during the past two years by retaining top advertising, marketing and consumer research talent.
“We have enjoyed substantial growth and momentum, as a result,” Sachs said.
To head the Boca Raton office, SMG appointed Amy Rosen as vice president of South Florida Operations and Marketing. Rosen is an integrated marketing specialist with more than 20 years of strategic planning and product marketing experience. In her career, she spent 10 years with Bally Total Fitness in Chicago in a number of roles, including vice president of marketing.
Rosen also supervised accounts for Cramer-Krasselt and J. Walter Thompson, working with brands such as Procter & Gamble, Max Factor International, Cosmair, L’Oréal Plenitude, Bacardi Imports, Tiffany & Co., Mercedes-Benz of North America and American Express.
One of SMG’s inaugural South Florida clients is People’s Trust Insurance Co., a Deerfield Beach-based homeowner’s insurance firm. SMG is working with People’s Trust to provide branding, public relations and marketing, in addition to developing a state-of-the-art interactive company website.

The Sachs Media Group South Florida office is at 150 E. Palmetto Park Road, Suite 800, in Boca Raton. Headquartered in Tallahassee, SMG has additional offices in Orlando and Washington.
