Lincoln Project claims Christina Pushaw is Ron DeSantis’ ‘master strategist’
War of words as DeSantis stumps the Rust Belt between Pushaw, Wilson.

The Lincoln Project is closing the week trolling Florida’s Governor, as he stumps for General Election candidates in Pennsylvania and Ohio, by purportedly pointing out the “master strategist” behind the curtain.

In a Friday press release entitled “DeSantis rallies with extremists Doug Mastriano and J.D. Vance,” a Lincoln Project co-founder named DeSantis’ rapid response director as the Governor’s go-to for campaign game plans.

“It’s no surprise to see Ron DeSantis amp up his campaign against Donald Trump by campaigning for edge-case candidates like J.D. Vance and Doug Mastriano,” said Rick Wilson, The Lincoln Project co-founder.

“Directed by his master strategist Christian Pushaw (sic), an alt-right activist who speaks fluent MAGA and directs all aspects of his campaign, DeSantis isn’t just embracing candidates known for their ugly misogyny and open rebellion against our country,” Wilson continued. “These people aren’t just who he’s endorsing; they’re who he is.”

Christina Pushaw was hired as DeSantis’ Press Secretary last year, leaving the position this summer to take the rapid response role in the Governor’s re-election campaign. She did not take the bait, tweaking Wilson for misspelling her name in the press release quote.

“All I have to say is anyone who wants to write press releases about me should at least know what my first name is,” she texted Florida Politics, sidestepping Wilson’s attacks.

DeSantis appears to have engineered these rallies, according to Pennsylvania’s Mastriano, who sounded starstruck describing how the DeSantis campaign recruited him for the Keystone State event.

“I’m like, are you kidding me? Heck yes,” Mastriano, the state Senator told the right-of-center One America News Network.

This mattered to him, he added, “because my goal as governor of Pennsylvania is to make it the Florida of the North because he set the gold standard for the good a Governor can do — leading a state as opposed to what we have in Pennsylvania.”

Today’s Republican Party needs to wake up! The Democratic Party needs to maintain common sense policies with moderation and avoid extremism.
Independent voters are today’s voice of reason and decide elections.

Gallop has polled nationally asking a simple question of Party affiliation….. here are the results:

    Democrats 27%
    Republicans 27%
    Independents 43%

In Florida there are a total of 14,256,184 registered voters. Of this amount 4,143,819 are unaffiliated independent voters, 5,157,343 are Republicans and 4,955,022 are Democrats.

Independent voters are generally moderate in fiscal issues, liberal in social issues and for the most part college educated. Appealing to the middle wins elections. Independent voters decide elections.

Let’s remember that what Trumpsters label RINO’s …… are really the true educated thoughtful American conservatives. Join real “never Trump” conservatives at the Lincoln Project … or any one of a half dozen alternate ‘never Trump’ organizations and help us destroy today’s GQP so that it can be rebuilt from the bottom up.

As usual peter h has no clue with his canned and insignificant reply.

The real actual story is that with a 500,000 flip, Florida GOP has a 230,000 lead in overtaking the Dems in state. The Dems were at 300,000 bout 4 yrs ago. No longer.

Facts are funny things like Florida’s 2.7% unemployment jobs offering.
Florida is the leader in economic liberty, freedom and opportunity.

As for the party registration, the fact you have 500,000 switch is massive.
Independents support Gov bout 55% or greater. Hispanics by 60% and likely greater. GOP support him 95%.

Wake sue up when it’s over.
Lincoln is a predator Org, Florida politics, provide a forum for Lincoln to convey their hate. Lincoln has no effect. Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, McCain staff, other losers are on a sinking island.

Yes you just described me to a “T”. Dropped my Republican registration when Trump was elected and I used to be fine with DeSantis until he started acting like Trump 2.0. Not interested in this brand of grievance politics. Trying to keep people angry isn’t a good way to govern OR a good campaign strategy. The Roe v Wade decision was the tipping point for me because Florida always has bills that restrict abortion rights and I don’t trust this GOP majority to keep the 15 week ban. I believe they will further restrict. Reluctantly voting for Charlie Crist who I presume will be the Dem. nominee for lack of a better option in November.

In the 2018 debates DeathSantis stated that he wants a 6 week abortion ban—that was with Roe. He has a history of following orders from the Catholic Church’s Conference of Bishops in denying contraceptives (99+% effective), to lower income Florida women. DeSatan signed his 15 week ban at a church and preached how “prayers answered” with SCOTUS Dobbs decision. DeDeviousDictator has been pretty quiet recently, not wanting to lose women and suburban parents who want to protect their daughters’ rights. He refuses to answer whether he plans call a special session for a total abortion ban in Nov, if re-elected. (It would be sensible to call this a “yes”.) Whether he will demand a total ban in 2022, or will wait until after the 2024 election, is the only question.

People say the same thing about Trump supporters. “Anyone who supports Trump is a racist.”
Which would mean that 30% of all Hispanics, 40% of all Asians, 10% of African-American’s and 40% of other minorities who voted for Trump are racist.

I think you’re one of those people who don’t understand that people are far more than their skin color.

Conservative Republicans should love the Lincoln Project. They fund-raise millions from mostly Democrats and former GOPers who would never give to Republicans anymore. They use the money mostly to pay themselves, have parties, and probably defend themselves in court from the sex abuse allegations. The spend very little on actual campaigning or advertising. Like less than 10%.
So it’s liberal money that could go to legit Dems being wasted on these grifters. All in all, a pretty good deal for actual Republicans.
