With the 2015 Florida Legislative Session less than a month away, Senate President Andy Gardiner and House Speaker Steve Crisafulli will visit Holy Comforter Episcopal School in Tallahassee to examine some of the state’s pressing issues in its annual Spring Lecture Series.
The event – titled “A Special Legislative Preview” — will be on Thursday, February 12 beginning 7:00 p.m. the school’s Student Center. The lecture series is free to attend and open to the public
This year’s program features a number of Florida’s most influential legislators. Moderated by longtime Republican adviser Sally Bradshaw and former Florida Democratic Party Executive Director Screven Watson, the scheduled panel includes Gardiner and Crisafulli, State Sen. Bill Montford and Rep. Michelle Rehwinkle Vasilinda. Also on hand will be Holy Comforter School Head Peter Klekamp and Jay Smith, Board Chair of the Ajax Building Corporation.
Among the topics up for discussion will range from water as a natural resource and education to healthcare and property insurance. The Lecture Series provides the public a chance to hear from top decision makers about the crucial matter facing all Floridians.
