Marco Rubio rips Joe Biden for caving to ‘antisemitic mobs’ with IDF battalion sanctions

Is the President 'appeasing' the Left?

Florida’s senior Senator issued a searing indictment of President Joe Biden, as the administration moves closer to sanctions on the Israeli Defense Forces’ (IDF) Netzah Yehuda Battalion.

“These impending sanctions are an effort by President Biden to appease Israel’s enemies, including the antisemitic mobs terrorizing college campuses across America. But it will stigmatize the entire IDF and encourage Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Iranian regime,” warned U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio.

Rubio lauded the effectiveness of the fighting force.

“This unit has been on the frontline against Hezbollah, which is terrorizing Israelis in Judea and Samaria, and it is now working to dismantle Hamas brigades in Gaza. In the last year, this unit has neutralized more than 30 terrorists, destroyed 69 terrorist structures, including sites used by Hamas to launch rockets at Israeli citizens, and located 3 underground sites in Gaza.”

The group of ultra-Orthodox warriors’ abilities are not in question.

“The Kfir Brigade, which is becoming veteran and experienced, is undergoing a revolutionary process of conversion to an infantry brigade,” reads a laudatory description from Nahal Haredi, the organization’s webpage.

“Part of Division 99 known as the ‘Fire Infantry Division,’ which is characterized by multi-arena combat capabilities according to Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi’s perception of the future battlefield. The brigade will be able to fight in any arena: Lebanon, Syria and Gaza.”

However, the tactics apparently are too much for a presidential administration attempting to triangulate between support for Israel generally and a restive flank on the Left and among young people, groups Biden is reliant on for re-election, who lean toward supporting the Palestinians as the Israeli war against Hamas rages on.

Per the Times of Israel, “no steps were taken to hold specific soldiers accountable for the repeated incidents of misconduct against Palestinians that ran rampant in Netzah Yehuda, a U.S. official said, explaining the unprecedented decision to move ahead with sanctioning an Israeli military unit.”

“Anti-semitic” is the new word for “woke,” huh? And “woke” was the new word for “human rights?” MAGA’s vision is accidentally being let out into the daylight for all to see, including MAGA voters who fell for the BS claims.
