Sand Key condo
All residents have been evacuated.

Emergency responders are on scene and residents are being evacuated from a condo tower in Sand Key, on the south end of Clearwater Beach.

“There is a high rise condo development at 1460 Gulf Blvd in Sand Key that is currently being evacuated due to a support beam splitting,” Pinellas County Commissioner Chris Latvala posted to X Tuesday evening.

As of just after 6 p.m., the Clearwater Police Department said all residents had been evacuated.

Bay News 9 investigative reporter Josh Rojas posted shortly after 7 p.m. that the support beam crack was still growing in the 12-story condo, which has 161 units and was 40% occupied at the time of evacuation.

Latvala said the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority was also on scene assisting with evacuating residents.

Cellphone video from a user on X shows at least a dozen emergency response vehicles at the condo tower, including at least two fire trucks.

The active calls log on the Clearwater Police Department’s website shows a call to the 1400 block of Gulf Boulevard at 3:55 p.m., noted as a “hazard.”

A call to the city of Clearwater public information officer just after 6 p.m. was not answered.

Thanks Earl those Rinos hate your wanking bans more than anything and it really gets their attention because 89% of them are addicted to cronic wanking.
Just some quick advice-never shake a RINO or LEFTYS hand as 75% of them have just been wanking. Rosey

Maybe if our Governor stopped running for President for five minutes, and acually put his job before his political aspirations, then the extremely pretty far-right Legislature wouldn’t need to put him in his place. The wife too.
