The 39 executive and 35 legislative lobbying clients of the lobbyists at Greenberg Traurig, PA, have gotten used to the team’s unshakable grit — and the firm has gotten used to collecting fees commensurate with it. The Tallahassee-based firm with a formidable national footprint pulled down lobbying compensation in the mid-to-high six figures during the final quarter of 2014, at approximately $760,000.
As big-name clients like the Seminole Tribe of Florida and Skanska know, you really can’t go wrong with lobbyist par excellence Leslie Dughi on your team, particularly not when she’s playing alongside Fred Bagett, Gus Corbella, Hayden Dempsey and the other Greenberg Traurig pros. Consider the addition of Fred Karlinsky who came over from Colodny Fass in October, and Q4 was something of a wild success for Greenberg.
During the fourth quarter of 2014, their legislative lobbying clients compensated them to the tune of around $596,976. Among these were the Seminoles, the firm’s highest-paying clients at $60,000 last quarter, as well as Enterprise Leasing Company, Florida Association of Court Clerks and constructions giants Skanska, who each chipped in up to $39,999 in fees.
The action was somewhat lighter on the executive advocacy side, though Greenberg Traurig were no slouches there either with the court clerks, GrowHealthy Holdings, Skanska and tax and consulting firm McGladrey all retaining the firm’s services at a rate of up to $19,999 last quarter.
Not just any firm that can seamlessly pull off representing such a wide-ranging and eclectic slate of clients at the same time. Greenberg Traurig has shown that it can, and that it pays.
