Florida Cabinet members join legislative and business leaders for an in-depth examination of the state’s most demanding issues at the Florida Chamber Board of Governors Capitol Days.
The annual two-day event is March 4-6 in Tallahassee’s Turnbull Center, 555 W Pensacola St.
Key topics include Florida’s long-term water policy, the Chamber’s plan for smarter healthcare coverage and solutions to change the state’s reputation a “judicial hellhole.”
Former Maine Gov. John McKernan, Jr., President, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and J.D. Foster, Deputy Chief Economist, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, will deliver the keynote address.
Scheduled speakers include members Attorney General Pam Bondi and CFO Jeff Atwater; Lieutenant Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera; Senate President Andy Gardiner; House Speaker Steve Crisafulli; Senate Majority Leader Bill Galvano; House Majority Leader Dana Young; Former Speaker Will Weatherford and Enterprise Florida President Bill Johnson.
Agenda topics include the State of the State update; securing Florida’s water future; the growth imperative; labor’s “job-killing agenda” and a reception at the Governor’s Mansion.
