In a safe GOP district, House District 15 incumbent state Rep. Jay Fant is likely to remain unopposed. Perhaps as a result, his fundraising has been relatively modest thus far. Fant, with $1,000 raised in July, has finally exceeded $20,000 raised. The $1,000 came in two $500 donations from subsidiaries of Southern Gardens Nursery.
