You’ve seen them from afar for some time now: candidates for the Jacksonville sheriff’s post, or for the mayor’s office, or maybe even a City Council seat. They all look so good! But how to get to know them?

One way to get to know the candidates will be offered on Monday by JCCI Forward and the Jacksonville Young Voters Coalition, in the form of the “Jax2025 Forum: Speed Dating with the Candidates.”

The event affords the Jacksonville voter a “chance to get up-close with candidates for elected office in Jacksonville. JCCI Forward, together with the Young Voters Coalition, is very excited to host a speed dating style candidate forum featuring Mayoral, Sheriff, and At-Large City Council candidates. This evening will provide you the opportunity to rotate from table to table to participate in your own discussion with those looking to lead our city.”

Cover charge is $10 and the event includes dinner.
