On Thursday, Gov. Rick Scott named two attorneys based in Palm Beach Gardens to the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court, which presides over Palm Beach County.
Dina Keever, 52, has practiced with McCabe Rabin, P.A. since 2013. She previously was sole practitioner of Dina A. Keever, P.A. through 2013, and before that was with Lewis Tein, P.L. from 2009-2012.
Keever also served as Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from 1998-2002 and the Southern District of Florida from 1995-1998. She fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge David Crow.
“Dina brings years of experience to the Fifteenth Circuit Court bench,” Scott said in a statement. “Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong understanding of the judicial process and the law.”
Scott also named Scott Ira Suskauer, 51, formerly of the Suskauer Law Firm, P.A. since 1994. He previously served as Assistant Public Defender in Palm Beach County.
Suskauer fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Stephen Rapp.
“Scott has demonstrated an outstanding understanding of the law while practicing in the West Palm Beach area over the past two decades,” the governor added. “I am confident in his ability to ensure that the rule of law is followed while serving in this capacity.”
