Jeb Bush big reveal: He is an Apple fan

Jeb Bush just made his biggest reveal yet on the campaign trail: he is a fan of Apple.

Facing a combative election season, the Republican presidential candidate loosened up – just a bit – to list his favored technology in a new YouTube video.

Bush is clearly making an effort to attract support among tech nerds. For example, last week he visited Thumbtack, the Silicon Valley startup that provides consumer services.

The 46-second clip exposes Bush to be an Apple fanboy, starting with a preference of the iPhone over the BlackBerry – as does most of the world (no word on Android).

For laptop or iPad: “MacBook Pro, baby,” Bush says.

The former Florida governor insists he can’t wait for driverless cars – possibly related to the Sunshine State’s recent advances in self-driving vehicle research.

But he saves some of the biggest questions for the end: Apple Watch or apple pie?

Bush holds up an arm to show his Apple Watch.

Finally, when asked to choose Steve Jobs‘ turtleneck over Mark Zuckerberg‘s hoodie – Bush said neither, instead liking his open collar, casual-Friday look.

Bush’s video — “Silicon Valley Favorites” — is available on YouTube.
