jacksonville - gorgeous

As is the case throughout the country, the Jacksonville Transportation Authority is bringing compressed natural gas buses into its fleet. On Monday, the big reveal happens in front of Jacksonville’s City Hall.

“JTA will receive a total of 23 CNG buses by the end of November 2015, in time for the launch of JTA’s First Coast Flyer Bus Rapid Transit North Corridor ‘Green Line’ on December 7,” according to a news release from JTA

After remarks by Mayor Lenny Curry and JTA chief Nathaniel Ford, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony.  From there, the bus will be open for a first look.

The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m.
