A “celebration of life” will be held Monday for Fred Leonhardt, the longtime Republican lawyer-lobbyist and member of Florida’s GrayRobinson firm.
The service will be 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 106 E. Church St. in downtown Orlando.
Before that, there’s a visitation 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Lee Fellowship Hall, also at First Presbyterian.
Leonhardt died last weekend of an apparent heart attack. He was 65.
According to an online obituary, he is survived by Vicki Cook Leonhardt of Ponce Inlet and their children Ashley Leonhardt Lee and her husband Kevin of Ormond Beach and Frederick Whitaker Leonhardt and his wife Amanda of Orlando; granddaughter Madison Grace Lee; and sister Germaine Leonhardt Moffett of Daytona Beach.
Leonhardt was well-known in the Capitol and beyond, and at last count was registered to lobby for nearly 50 clients. He also represented many nonprofits over the years and was on numerous advisory panels.
