Legislative chambers revise schedule for final week of Special Session

The state House and Senate have issued legislative calendar changes for the final week of 2015 Special Session C, which is set to end Nov. 6. The session was convened to amend Senate maps, ordered by a Florida Supreme Court judgment that found the upper chamber violated anti-gerrymandering laws.

A number of scheduled hearing times were jointly amended Wednesday afternoon.

A meeting of the Joint Legislative Auditing Committee – previously not scheduled to meet during Week 3 – will now meet in on the morning of Monday, Nov. 2 in Senate Room 301 from 9:30 a.m. until 1 a.m.

House Children, Families & Seniors Subcommittee : 102 H 9-11 a.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 3

Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Criminal and Civil Justice: 37 S 1-4 p.m.

Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Education: 412 K 1-4 p.m.

Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government: 110 S 1-4 p.m.

Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services: 401 S 1-4 p.m.

Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Tourism, and Economic Development: 301 S 1-4 p.m.
