HD 16 hopeful Dick Kravitz clears $39K raised

Despite persistent rumors and a floated poll that suggest that Jacksonville City Councilman Matt Schellenberg may still be looking at this race, the HD 16 contest is still a binary clash between old-school Jacksonville politico Dick Kravitz and new-school candidate Jason Fischer.

Fischer has maintained a fundraising advantage even without the benefit of October numbers, yet Kravitz showed signs of life with a $6,550 month that pulled him up to $39,050 total.

Notable names that gave to Kravitz: lobbyist Ronald Book, who maxed out, as well as the Florida Conservative Alliance PAC, associated most closely with Aaron Bean.

Kravitz is spending money also: $526.75 went to the Whitson Group and another $400 to TWG Technologies.

Both of these entities are associated with Zack Whitson, best known locally for his iElectApp, which famously forecast a rousing victory for Alvin Brown during his re-election bid.
