State Sen. Audrey Gibson will face no meaningful competition in her re-election bid, and that likely explains the quiet fundraising for the Jacksonville Democrat in October.

A $2,288 month pushes her total to $77,491.

Of the five contributions Gibson got last month, three, totaling $1,500, were from medical concerns: Gilead Sciences, RTI Surgical, and the American Pharmacy Cooperative.

Expenditures, which totaled $3,974 in October, were highlighted by $1,674 to FAMU Athletics for tickets.
