A strong case has been made among NE Florida insiders that Paul Renner will be the next House Speaker from NE Florida, and his October fundraising report lends credence to that.

$29,825 of October money brings his total raised up to $43,825, with just $1,825 spent.

Very little of that money comes from his district, with a big chunk of it coming from donors like the Jacksonville Kennel Club, the Orange Park Kennel Club, Gate Petroleum, and other indicators of Jacksonville establishment support.

The PACs are also all in on Renner, including such reliables as the Florida Medical Association PAC and the Florida COW PAC.

The Democrat in the race, Adam Morley, had his biggest month yet, raising $100, bringing his total up to $202.

Loans are keeping his operation, which has spent $227, afloat.
