Could lawyer money decide HD 14 race?
A nice warm evening in Tallahassee on a very busy street while taking this shot.

Leslie Jean-Bart told FloridaPolitics.com that she’d have the money she needed to win the House District 14 race.

And November provides proof of that claim.

Jean-Bart’s $5,135 November, all but $175 raised from the legal community, pushes her cash raised to $24,626. Meanwhile, she spent just $662 last month.

Terry Fields, her opponent who filed in November, has yet to raise money.

However, Fields’ “fundraising commercial” from his council race this year, is still on the Internet, for those interested in going back in time and donating in that race.

Before the First Election in March, Fields actually had raised more than anyone else in his District 8 race. It did no good, though, since Pat Lockett-Felder and Katrina Brown made the runoff, providing an entertaining proxy war between Denise Lee loyalists and friends of Corrine Brown, which Katrina Brown won in the end.
