There are light agendas, and then there’s the one that the Jacksonville City Council Transportation, Energy, and Utilities committee had on Monday.
One uncontroversial bill was on it. It regarded a drainage easement in Mayport.
During the agenda meeting, Chair Reggie Brown joked that the committee might be able to get through the agenda in one minute.
As it turned out, the meeting lasted closer to two.
