The mystery establishment Republican entering the HD 12 GOP primary is no longer a mystery: Terrance Freeman filed on Monday.
“This seat is about the future of Florida. I have a burning desire to use my experience in the private sector to serve the people of the 12th District in the Florida House of Representatives,” Freeman told FloridaPolitics.com Monday morning.
Freeman, a stalwart of the local business community, is Executive Council Assistant for Aaron Bowman, and is more socially moderate than current opponents Don Redman and Clay Yarborough.
His entry in the race means that the stalled campaign of JTA lobbyist Richard Clark likely will be pushed ever closer to departure, with Freeman entering as the Chamber candidate.
Freeman presents a choice in a field with two conservatives, one unknown, and a lobbyist whose position in the race is seen by many as terminally compromised.

Mark MacLean is not an “unknown”. He’s a well respected attorney and good Christian!
