Robots trailing Marco Rubio in NH focus of new video

Robots have been trailing Marco Rubio in New Hampshire, and now the liberal organization that dispatched them is out with a Web video.

American Bridge 21st Century on Tuesday released a 40-second video of news coverage of the robots. The Web video — called “Domo Arigato Marco Roboto” — features cable news hosts and candidates talking about Rubio and criticisms raised about his ability to stay on message.

Rubio has been criticized in recent days for what some are calling a robotic debate performance. He repeated the same line several times during Saturday’s debate, taking heat from opponent Chris Christie. The Associated Press called it his worst moment in a presidential debate.

American Bridge 21st Century, a progressive political organization, sent two robots to New Hampshire to trail Rubio this week.

On Tuesday morning, Americans United for Change, another progressive organization, circulated a video of Rubio supporters getting physical with a protester dressed as a robot.
