Marco Rubio in fourth place in Michigan Monmouth poll

The map supposedly looks better for Marco Rubio as the primaries continue. But apparently that map doesn’t include the Wolverine State.

A Monmouth University poll released Monday regarding Tuesday’s Michigan Primary shows Rubio in a distant fourth place, at 13 percent, ahead of the Tuesday vote, and currently out of the running for delegates.

Donald Trump leads with 36 percent, ahead of Ted Cruz at 23 percent, and John Kasich has 21 percent. Candidates must reach a 15 percent threshold to be eligible for at-large delegates.

Rubio is running last place with both self-identified evangelical and non-evangelical voters.

On primary night on Tuesday, perhaps Rubio’s decision to barnstorm Florida yet again happened for a very good reason.
