While 4th Circuit State Attorney Angela Corey may differ with the Florida Times-Union about whether text messages are “transitory” or not, less transitory is her fundraising lead over Wes White.
Corey has roughly $207,000 cash on hand, after raising just over $7,000 in February.
Among the donors this month: recent Sheriff candidate Jay Farhat and Tom Hackney, who is familiar to Jacksonville residents for his plain speaking during the extended Lonzie Barton investigation.
White’s campaign is underwater, propped up by a $10,000 loan, which gives him $3,000 cash on hand.
White raised $1,500 in February, and spent $4,416 on “video production services.”
For that price, those videos had better have special effects.
