Corrine Brown tells Bernie Sanders to stay in Presidential race

Bernie Sanders Super PAC

Reports are that supporters of Hillary Clinton want Bernie Sanders to get out of the Presidential race and clear the way for the former Secretary of State.

That is true to some extent. Possibly a large extent. But not every Clinton supporter agrees.

Exhibit A: Representative Corrine Brown, who told FloridaPolitics.com that Sanders should not get out of the Presidential race at this point.

“No, I don’t think Senator Bernie Sanders should drop out.  In fact, given the exaggerated amount of free air time given to Republican candidate Donald Trump, I am hopeful Senator Sanders continues to stay in the race so that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton receives at least some portion of television air time as well,” Congresswoman Brown said in a statement Tuesday.

In November, Brown talked to reporters in Jacksonville about the Presidential race, and her support for Hillary Clinton, which has been steadfast since 1992.

Of Trump, Congresswoman Brown said “he’s an entertainer” and that she often turns on the TV to “see what he did today.”
