Do law enforcement, the legal system, and local government have the public’s trust? Some of Jacksonville’s leading politicians will discuss that question Tuesday at a “Diversity & Inclusion Event” sponsored by the Jacksonville Bar Association & Florida Coastal Law School.

Among the panelists: Chief Judge Mark Mahon, Mayor Lenny Curry, State Attorney Angela Corey, Public Defender Matt Shirk, Sheriff Mike Williams, Nat Glover, President of Edward Waters College and former Sheriff.

The panel, from 1:30 to 3:00 at the Hyatt on Coastline Drive, is part of a larger program on Tuesday afternoon on the theme of “easing racial tensions and building a community of trust.”
