A trio of Republican state House members are set to throw a mutual fundraiser at Tucker Duke’s Lunchbox ahead of the legislative session — Sanford’s Jason Brodeur and Majority Leader Dana Young of Tampa for re-election in their respective House seats, and Matt Gaetz of Shalimar for the Florida Senate seat held by his term-limited father, former Senate President Don Gaetz.

All three are considered senior members of the House GOP caucus; Brodeur will chair Health & Human Services for 2015-2016 and Gaetz will helm Finance & Tax, while Young occupies a key leadership role.

All three are also known as active front-benchers in floor debate.

The reception will take place on February 2, about a month before the March 3 opening day of the 2015 legislation session. Under state law, the maximum contribution is $1,000 per candidate.
