Corrine Brown's "quick picks" are out now for no-information Duval voters

Corrine Brown

The Jacksonville election is less than four weeks away, and early voting starts in less than two. Most Jacksonville voters have been inundated with mailers and by radio and TV ads. But if you’re one of those Jacksonville voters without a mailbox or any electronic media capabilities, you might still lack information on how to vote. No worries! Representative Corrine Brown has you hooked up, with “Corrine’s Quick Picks”.

For those who read our site’s piece on the St. Paul AME Forum that Mayor Alvin Brown and Bill Bishop were not part of (as both men had schedule conflicts that precluded attendance), you might remember Denise Lee telling voters not to choose candidates from a “slip of paper someone gives you”. Below, you will see the slip of paper she was talking about.

I’ll spoil the suspense. The perpetual Congresswoman, a Democrat, endorses Democrats in every race. The interesting part of this old-school “voter education” document comes when she has to pick between Democrats.

Notably, she picks incumbent Kimberly Daniels in At Large Group 1 and Garrett Dennis (and not Glorious Johnson) in the District 9 race. This is notable because Johnson’s campaign manager parted ways with her recently, and part of the reason for the breach, says the rumor mill, is because said campaign manager preferred to work for Councilwoman Daniels, who made news recently by spending campaign funds to promote her book, the Demon Dictionary. A voter, meanwhile, has since filed a complaint with the Florida Elections Commission for this misuse of campaign funds.

Corrine Brown’s reelection slogan in recent years has been “Corrine Delivers!” This is usually construed as a reference to federal pork. However, this is a reminder that the Representative delivers voters too.

You are a pathetic person. Do all you have to do is spread gossip that is laced with LIES.

Glorious Johnson is one of the most unethical people I know. She owes me $10,000 from her first campaign in 2003. Rumor has it that her campaign manager resigned because she failed to compensate him and also owes him thousands. He was also running Glorious’ and Kim’s campaign at the same time.

It is funny how you blast Kim for her stance on the HRO. Glorious has said behind closed doors she does not support it but will say what it takes to get elected, just as she did with the Confederate flag.

Glorious cannot be trusted. She uses people and she is a BIG liar filled with broken promises.
