Brandon Patty plans high-powered Jax fundraiser May 18

Brandon Patty

Some positive tidings have emerged for CD 6 Republican Brandon Patty, running to replace Ron DeSantis in a crowded primary field.

Thursday saw him drop off his last batch of petitions at the Flagler SOE.

“With over 2500 collected, we should reach the required 2298 petitions to qualify next week,” Patty posted on Facebook.

But the momentum isn’t stopping there. Patty, who has a lot of Jacksonville support in his race, will tap into that on May 18 for a fundraiser event with a host committee that is as high-powered as it gets in this region.

State Senators Rob BradleyAaron Bean, and Travis Hutson, along with State Rep. Cyndi Stevenson are the high-powered electeds on the committee.

Jacksonville influencers and mega-donors are in force, including Mac McGeheeJohn Baker, Hap Stein and Jay Demetree.

Event is at the San Jose Country Club between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m., with a maximum contribution limit of $10,800 per couple.
