Republican U.S. Rep. Daniel Webster will hold a fundraiser later this month at the Silverthorn Country Club in Spring Hill, his campaign announced Thursday.
The host committee for the event, scheduled for May 19 at 6 pm, includes former Florida Attorney General and U.S. Rep. Bill McCollum, Hernando County School Board member and businessman Gus Guadagnino and former Hernando County Association of Realtors President Al Boland, among many others.
Webster has served in congress since 2011 and is currently representing Florida’s 10th Congressional District. New district maps have drawn the Winter Park Republican, who was a state-level lawmaker for 28 years, into CD 11.
