What do Marianne Aho, Russell Healey, Angela Cox, Steven Fahlgren, Jack Schemer, and Linda McCallum have in common?
All six of them are running unopposed for re-election for 4th Circuit judgeships, as of Friday afternoon.
There are just two competitive races in the 4th Circuit.
Group 9 incumbent Bruce Anderson faces David Trotti, a Jacksonville lawyer specializing in family law and bankruptcy proceedings.
Anderson has just over $100,000 cash on hand in his campaign account; Trotti has no money in his.
Group 25 incumbent Mark Hulsey will contend with a challenge from Gerald Wilkinson, a Jacksonville lawyer who specializes in family law and criminal defense.
Hulsey may face more difficulty in the money race. His campaign account has $10,100 in it, with $10,000 of that being a personal loan.
Wilkerson, who filed Friday, has $20,000 in his account, he let us know.
“The article [previously] said that I don’t have any money in my campaign account. As you might know, that information is generated when a candidate files his quarterly Financial Disclosures, which were not due for me yet. I started my campaign with $20,000.00,” Wilkerson wrote in a statement.

This is not true. I started my campaign with 20,000 in my campaign account, it doesn’t appear because I have not been required to file my quarterly financial disclosures yet.

Please note you have Gerald Wilkerson’s name misstated as Wilkinson in the body of the article.
