Byron Donalds, Joe Davidow boost their campaign coffers in April

Joe Davidow Byron Donalds

Byron Donalds has raised more than $100,000 since jumping into the House District 80 race a little more than a year ago.

State records show Donalds raised $7,410 in April. The infusion of cash in the one-month fundraising period brought Donalds’ fundraising totals to $100,528 since March 2015.

Donalds’ campaign spent $4,963 in April, and has spent $22,382 since opening his campaign account in March 2015. Donalds has more than $79,000 cash on hand.

The Naples Republican faces Joe Davidow, also a Naples Republican, in the race to replace Rep. Matt Hudson in the Florida House. Hudson can’t run for re-election because of term limits. Donalds has significantly outraised Davidow, who threw his hat in the HD 80 race in June.

State records show Davidow raised $2,050 in April. He has raised $31,654 since jumping in the House District 80 race. Davidow spent $62 in April, and has spent $8,662 since opening his campaign account. He has more than $22,000 cash on hand.

No Democrat has filed to run in House District 80.
