Debbie Wasserman Schultz denies party discord as Florida Democrats pick their at-large delegates

Democratic National Convention Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz predicted party unity Saturday night and all but ignored the fracases and growing friction between supporters of Bernie Sanders her the party leadership.

In a speech given at the Florida Democratic Party’s Swing State Blue Gala in Orlando Saturday, Wasserman Schultz, the congresswoman from Weston, focused her attention on Republican apparent nominee Donald Trump and never mentioned the names of the Democrats battling it out, Hillary Clinton and U.S. Sen. Sanders from Vermont.

“I’m confident the convention will be united for a common purpose,” she said in one of the few moments in her speech that suggested anyone was worried about discord.

The Florida Democrats also picked their at-large and elected officials delegates to the Democratic National Convention Saturday.

    Democrat system is bought and paid for by Clinton. Sanders doesn’t stand a chance.
