The Florida delegation to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland has been invited to a private welcome reception next Tuesday hosted by Associated Industries of Florida and Anheuser-Busch.

The event, which will be held the second night of the convention, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Pickwick & Frolic Restaurant & Club on 4th Street about two blocks from the Quicken Loans Arena, where the RNC is being held.

“I would like to extend my personal invitation for you and a guest to join us at the welcome reception … to relax, socialize, and re-connect before the business of the convention,” Tom Feeney, president and CEO of Associated Industries, said in the invitation. “If you desire, I would also be pleased to introduce you to other national leaders and members of the Florida delegation.”

The invitation indicates national leaders from the U.S. House and U.S. Senate may attend.
