Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney continues to be among the top earners in the lobbying industry, reporting earnings of at least $500,000 for the second quarter of 2016.
The Tallahassee-based firm reported earning between $500,000 and $999,9999 for its work lobbying the Florida Legislature in the second quarter, spanning from April 1 to June 30. Firms must file the reports, which typically include compensation ranges, each quarter. The second quarter reports are due Aug. 14.
Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney’s diverse client list helped keep them among the top earners during the second quarter. The firm had more than five dozen clients, including State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co., Lee Memorial Health System, AbbVie, Inc., and the Florida League of Cities, which paid the firm between $20,000 and $29,999 for its services in the second quarter.
The firm’s client roster also lists several local governments, including the cities of Ormond Beach and Fort Myers, which paid the firm between $1 and $9,999 for its services, and the Collier County Board of County Commissioners, which paid between $10,0000 and $19,999 for its services.
The company also reported United States Sugar Corp. paid it $63,000 for its legislative services in the second quarter.
Led by John “Mac” Stipanovich, the Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney government affairs team includes Ivette Arango O’Doski, Keith Arnold, Brett Bacott, Douglas Bell, Marnie George, Michael Harrell, Jim Magill, Kimberly McGlynn, Linda Shelley, and Timothy Stanfield.
