Rick Scott’s pro-Trump super PAC spending $1M on Philly ad buy

Florida Gov. Rick Scott — in his capacity as chairman of Rebuilding America Now,” a super PAC backing Donald Trump — had a message for those following the presidential race:

Pennsylvania is in play. And there is room to move in the Philadelphia market.

“More emails, more lies. FBI reopens investigation. @RebuildingAmNow launching this new ad as part of $1M Philly TV buy,” the super PAC tweeted on Saturday.

The most favorable public polling for Trump shows a “razor-thin” margin in the Keystone State between the GOP presidential nominee and Hillary Clinton.

However, polling consistently has shown Clinton trouncing Trump in the all-important Philadelphia suburbs, with the latest extreme iteration showing Clinton over Trump by 28 in the voter-rich area.

The ad strings together Clintonian quotes denying sending “classified material” via email, newly relevant in the wake of renewed FBI inquiries into the Democratic nominee’s pattern of email usage when she was secretary of state.
