Frist reported by POLITICO, Cardon previously worked for the Hudson Institute, a conservative non-profit think tank based in Washington, D.C.
At the Hudson Institute, Cardon performed research with the Center for American Seapower and Center for Political-Military Analysis. Before that, he had interned for U.S. Rep. Jim Himes, a Connecticut Democrat.
Mack, a Republican, served Florida’s 14th Congressional District from 2005 to 2013. In 2012, he lost a bid for the U.S. Senate. Mack is also the CEO and founder of both Mack Strategies and Liberty International Group.
