Anna Pauline Luna has a beef with Twitter.

Luna is one of five Republicans hoping to challenge Charlie Crist in November.

Former St. Petersburg Mayor Bill Foster is endorsing Anna Paulina Luna for Congress, her campaign announced Thursday.

“Anna Paulina Luna is a passionate and persuasive voice for change,” Foster said.  “She will be a champion for Pinellas County and is the best choice for Republicans ready to take back the House and send a principled advocate to Washington. I am proud to give her my full support.”

Luna is running for Florida’s 13th Congressional District in a crowded Republican primary. The winner will take on incumbent Democrat Charlie Crist in November.

“I am grateful to have Mayor Foster’s endorsement,” Luna said.  “He is a proven public servant who cares deeply about the people of Pinellas County. To have his faith and support is my honor.”

Foster served one term as Mayor before losing a contentious reelection bid to current Mayor Rick Kriseman in 2013.

Luna faces four challengers in the GOP primary including Amanda Makki, George Buck, Sheila Griffin and Sharon Newby. Two other candidates, Nicolas Sacramento and Matt Becker, left the race before last Friday’s qualifying deadline.

Bill Foster is the best Mayor who led our city through troubling times, doing his nest to keep city services, like fire and police functioning. I hope to meet you soon because with Foster’s endorsement, I am confident you are the best candidate to replace clueless Crist. When and where is your next meet and greet?

All Republicans OUT, and FOREVER. Every pitch they have, including this one, for this creature, is empty, deceitful hype. TRUMP hype. Calculated only to deceive, defraud, and ultimately disappoint. GOP held the government for 8 years between 2000 (a stolen election) and 2008, and allowed a grievous terrorist attack on the nation through their bland disinterest, and destroyed the economy. They’ve held it again since 2016, and allowed a catastrophic, murderous pandemic through their bland disinterest and grotesque incompetence, and once again destroyed the economy. What we enjoyed, with hiccups since 2016, was an extension of the roaring Obama economy, despite Trump’s best efforts to wreck it, like he set out to wreck all of Obama’s other accomplishments. That economy is a smoking ruin now. Now, it is a TRUE “GOP economy” based on their history of the last 20 years, at least. And McConnell says let the states declare bankruptcy. There’s your cross-section of the GOP. It is no good anymore. It HAS no good in it anymore. It has layed down naked and prostrate at the feet of Trump. Foster’s praise of this woman with her surly expression means nothing. No one good bears the GOP banner anymore. No one.
