Ron DeSantis threatens to overtake Joe Biden in 2024 presidential race prediction market
.

Biden DeSantis
The Governor overtook Vice President Kamala Harris in October.

Prediction markets are showing momentum for “America’s Governor” one day becoming America’s President.

Action on the PredictIt platform shows Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis nearing President Joe Biden in the estimation of its investors, after having overtaken Vice President Kamala Harris weeks ago.

“DeSantis, who had been in fourth position, overcame Harris on Oct. 16 and is now just 1¢ below the current President with 22¢ as Harris has dropped to 13¢,” explained a “Predictable Insights” email from PredictIt.

DeSantis’ rise in recent weeks tracks with a surge of enthusiasm for former President Donald Trump, who tops all options at 31¢ for a “Yes” share.

“In a theoretical match-up between Trump and Biden for the 2024 presidential election, Trump leads 31¢ to 23¢. The candidates flipped on Oct. 3, when Trump took the lead with 30¢ and Biden fell to 27¢,” the email notes.

DeSantis only trails Trump in the estimation of PredictIt investors regarding who might be the Republican nominee. Trump is a 41¢ yes share, while DeSantis is 27¢. Ambassador Nikki Haley is the next closest Republican, at just 8¢.

The Governor’s political future continues to be under national scrutiny. CNN examined Friday at the dynamic between Trump and DeSantis, offering reminders of Trump’s belief that he made the Governor with his pivotal endorsement in the 2018 gubernatorial primary.

DeSantis continues to downplay interest in a 2024 run for The White House, but recent polling shows momentum for the Governor as the most preferred Trump alternative, should the 45th President not run again.

DeSantis says his focus is on his re-election campaign, but his messaging is that of a national figure.

On Thursday, his campaign released a long form essay defending Kyle Rittenhouse, charged in the deaths of two men and shooting of a third during a protest against police brutality in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

“The whole Kenosha episode has been a tragic farce built upon a foundation of corporate media lies,” DeSantis asserted in a midweek blast about issues far away from the so-called Free State of Florida.

DeSantis has been cognizant of contrasting his administration with Biden’s in Washington, including capitalizing on the recent Republican enthusiasm for the “Let’s Go Brandon” chant by signing bills opposing vaccine mandates at Brandon Honda in the Tampa area.

” …protest against police brutality in Kenosha, Wisconsin.”
That was a riot with mucho mayhem including looting and destruction of property. During which Rittenhouse was attacked by thuggish assailants and defended himself.

what a moron you are, a white Trump supporter goes to another state’s city armed with an AR-15 and ideas of glory , and fueled by President Trump’s words and Kyle is defending himself? Great argument for the defense but you Fox News Couch potatoes are FOS anymore

Actually, you’re the moron and you’re a blatant racist against white people. Kyle is a citizen of the UNITED STATES meaning he has the right to go into any state he wishes. Additionally, the 2nd amendment of the UNITED STATES constitution gives him the right to carry arms, so perhaps you should either learn about the guaranteed constitutional rights to U.S. citizens or if you don’t like consider moving out of the country.

Right I am that even being white, you other white people are the dumbest train wrecks of humanity to walk this earth since before the civil rights acts of the 60’s….
If anything, if society, and the rule of law can’t weed you people out, i looking for an act of God because dollars to doughnuts i know who will be left standing at the end of that kind of cleansing. From stealing every piece of land from native people’s to enslaving a crop of dark skins from continents over there’s been nothing right about “white” in probably a thousand years.

Rittenhouse has just been acquitted on all charges. Crawl back in your hole, “cray morrison.” Your insults and insolence are meaningless.

Yea, you know “zhombre” joke name and i’d love to wipe that stupid I just tossed trump’s salad shmuck grin off your face… because a white guy getting acquitted on all charges for murder in this politically charged environment is not unlike a former president inciting a coup against his own government because he lost the election as just two insane pieces of the same insane white puzzles….I never once thought Kyle was ever going to be charged because no one in this country has to balls to stand up to even the most obvious of white crimes. And trust me we the people, all of us, the worse for wear going forward on this,….

It’s obvious you don’t know any of the actual facts. That was Kyle’s hometown not “another state’s city”. His dad lived there, his friends lived there, and his job was there.

You are very much entitled to your opinion but so is everyone else name-calling and putting people down in the midst of your disagreement just negates any credibility you have. You go on the bumper sticker that I love the most. Mean people suck

Cray Morrison has obvious mental problems. He’s white, he claims, but exhibits pathological hatred toward white people, ie, self loathing. Not to mention threats of violence. Kid is sick. Needs help.

He shouldn’t of been there in the first place. Stupid child took a gun across state lines to do what exactly. Defend who? He will have to live with what he did, and no one will ever let him forget it. He will be run out of his hometown soon enough.

Fortunately for you, being stupid isn’t a crime. “Defend who”? He was attacked by a convicted pedophile who repeatedly warned that he would kill Kyle or others if he got them alone. Kyle ran from the attack until he was cornered, then he defended himself. If you had watched the trial you might have learned this.

In a trial a defense lawyer can too say “the devil made him do it” and that be a defense…. convicted pedophile or not yea, I am going to trust what a defense lawyer says as the “word of truth” lmfao you boob….. Trump supporter much?

Kyle Rittenhouse has ties to that community and had every right to protect lives and property in the absence of effective law enforcement, thanks to the supine response of the state governor. The thugs and rioters he shot in self-defense had no right to be there on the street that night, creating havoc and damage, and attacking Rittenhouse with deadly intent. You the stupid, uninformed one, Sarah. He has been acquitted on all charges, by the way.

The gun never crossed state lines. Another lie the media keeps repeating. Kyle lived and worked in that town. Yes, his mom lived across the border in Illinois but Kyle never took the gun to Illinois but kept in it Wisconsin where his dad lived because it likely would have been illegal in Illinois.

Excluding ex POTUS 45, America’s Governor dominates Repub. party. He is the leader and all initiatives, ideas flow from his great example as Governor.

Unemployment just dropped to 4.6%, down from 4.9% last month. Education, jobs, environmental policy, freedom, America’s Governor continues to show the difference.

If 45 does not run, it will be natural for him to do so. He already outpaces giggles Harris and will Biden. Biden/Harris economy, causing devastation.

America’s Governor leading the way for freedom, liberty, jobs, economic opportunity, education, protecting families, and more.

God Bless America’s Gov, Casey and family!
