Yet another poll shows Florida’s Governor losing traction in the first-in-the-nation Primary state.
In a survey of 862 New Hampshire GOP Primary voters conducted from Saturday to Monday by co/efficient, Gov. Ron DeSantis has fallen to 9%, good for a second place tie with former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
Both Christie and DeSantis are 34 points behind Donald Trump (43%), with other candidates not too far behind.
Former United Nations envoy Nikki Haley is at 7%, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and U.S. Sen. Tim Scott are at 5%, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum sits at 4%, and former Vice President Mike Pence is at 3%.
DeSantis performs better with women (11%) than men (8%) in this poll. Voters between 35 and 44 years of age are his best demographic group, as he has 18% support among them.
Unhappily for the field, GOP Primary voters are sticking with Trump despite (or maybe because of) the various indictments of the former President, with 62% of respondents saying they would vote for him even if he were convicted of a felony.
Unhappily for DeSantis, this is another poll showing Christie as his peer in the state.
A poll from the Manhattan Institute conducted in July shows just 2 points separate the Florida Governor and the former New Jersey Governor, with DeSantis at 13% and Christie at 11%.
A July survey commissioned by American Greatness and conducted by National Research Inc., shows DeSantis with 11% support, 30 points in back of Trump and just 3 points up on Christie and Scott.
The American Pulse survey conducted between July 5 and July 11 shows Trump with 48% and DeSantis with 10.5%, just 0.5 points above Christie’s 10%.
The Race to the White House polling average for the state shows Trump with 42% support, DeSantis at 12% and Christie in third, for now, with 9%. Other names are further back still.

Florida suffered a lot of pain, financial drain, and national disdain for those stupid culture wars – all for the failing political aspirations of a petty little man. Culture wars hurt many people, but did nothing to make the lives of Floridians any better – just more divisive.
Trumpism is a cult, the Republican party is dead, and Ron DeSantis is toast. His best bet is to move to Hungary where he can spew his hate.

Will give credit where credit’s due. KC and the Never Bend Over PAC saw this one coming. That’s why they “suspended” efforts in NH a while back. Rhonda is the only one that’s clueless as to his future.

“If convicted of a felony.” “What if he were convicted of 125 felonies?” would be the more realistic question.
